HOW TO CARE FOR RAW HAIR?

Hair products made with oil based ingredients also tend to build up on the hair shaft causing build up. Build up too, will make your hair extension look and feel greasy with no body or bounce!

To avoid dull and stiff extensions, wash your raw hair bundles with a conditioner of your choice, every week! At least once a month, wash your raw hair extensions using a clarifying shampoo. After using a clarifying wash, don't forget to replace  the moisture with a deep conditioner.

A leave-in conditioner is always reccomended before swimming in a pool. The leave in conditioner will act as barrier between the hair shaft and the water. The conditioner will act as sort of a "protective layer" and prevent the chlorine from  penetrating the hair shaft. 

Always use a heat protectant before styling your raw hair bundles. Heat will slowly damage the hair over an extended period of time. The heat protectant will absorb most of the heat from your hoot tool in order to minimize the damage done to the hair. 

Lastly feel free to use a light serum or oil as needed. A light hair serum can be used to mimize frizz and flyways or used to add extra moisture to the ends!

HOW LONG DOES RAW HAIR LAST?
